Sometimes all it takes is one person who believes in you — while you remember how strong you already are. Together, we'll find what's already within you to heal and grow.

THERAPY WITH HEART

A space where
you're believed in

My Philosophy

I'm Jerine Alex, Counselling Psychologist trained at NIMHANS and with corporate clients at Santulan. My work is built on four things: Empathy. Belief. Nurturance. Love.

I work from a person-centered, integrative space. What that means is: therapy moves at your pace, in your way. There's no one-size-fits-all here.

Together, we'll use whatever helps you most — insight, practical tools, honest conversation, and care. Sometimes I'll help you find your way forward. Sometimes I'll sit with you in what's hard. Always, I'll show up — fully, and with heart.

Because therapy isn't "client and therapist." It's two people, working together for your growth. And I take that responsibility personally.

The Belonging Approach

Four pillars

Nurturance

Love

I meet you exactly where you are, without judgment or expectation.

I hold the belief in your capacity to heal, even when you can't feel it yourself.

Empathy

Belief

A warm, safe space where your story is heard and your growth is tended.

Genuine care, not clinical distance, as the foundation of our work together.

Built on

You don't have to do this alone. Let's do it together.

Areas I work in

Whatever you're carrying — big or small, named or unnamed — there's a place for it here.

"Therapy isn't about being fixed. It's about being truly seen — and finding your way from there."

— Deeply Human · Jerine Alex

"Therapy with Jerine Ma'am was the best thing for my mental health. I got to know the reasons behind my issues, and then we figured out how to cope with them, together. She's a great listener, and I always felt so seen and heard. She was very attentive to me and created a space where I felt comfortable opening up without the fear of being judged. She helped me so much during the worst phase of my life. I will always be grateful to her."

"Jerine has been really supportive and given me great insight into my condition. While I have been to some therapists in the past they would consider my problems as Cognitive dissonance and Cognitive Distortions (Like Black and White Thinking) however Jerine after understanding my situations could help me understand about OCD and how it is affecting different parts of my life rather than dismissing my emotions and mindset as "just your thinking" I am really grateful for the ongoing process to figure out different parts to the problem and how each of them can be fixed in a gradual manner. Thanks Jerine :)"

"My experience with my therapist has been truly transformative. Her ability to accurately understand the underlying issues and identify patterns has always impressed me. She has helped me heal on many levels, while also helping me understand myself and my thoughts with greater clarity.

What stands out most is her empathy, patience, and non-judgmental approach. I have always felt heard, understood, and supported during our sessions. Her guidance has helped me develop healthier perspectives and make meaningful changes in my life.

I’m genuinely grateful for her support and the positive impact she has had on my healing journey. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a compassionate, insightful, and skilled therapist."
