Therapy for Teens: Ages 15-18

This is a space for you to talk about the real stuff — school pressure, friendships, identity, anxiety, family, and everything in between.

How it works:

1. Consent: For clients under 18, we require written consent from a parent or legal guardian before the first session can begin.

2. Your Voice Matters: You will also be asked for your assent. Therapy works best when you choose to be here too.

3. First Session: The first session usually includes both the teen and parent/guardian. Ongoing sessions are typically with the teen alone, as clinically appropriate.

4. Confidentiality: What you share in sessions is kept private. There are important limits to confidentiality. These include situations where there is risk of harm to yourself or others, concerns of abuse, or if required by law or court order. In those cases, I may need to involve your parent/guardian or appropriate authorities. We will discuss all of this in detail in the first session so there are no surprises.

5. Not for Emergencies: This service is not for crisis support. If you or someone you know is in immediate danger, please contact emergency services at 112 in India or reach out to a trusted adult right away.
