About me

Hi, I'm Jerine

Before Psychology

My journey to becoming a therapist wasn't a straight line, and I'm grateful for that.

The Turn

I started out as a lawyer. I did my BA LLB (Hons) and worked at Anand Rathi Wealth Limited as an Estate Planning Lawyer, drafting wills and trusts for HNI clients. It was stable, it paid well — and on paper, it was "the safe choice."

But something was missing. While I'm grateful for that experience, I realized my heart was always in understanding people, not just paperwork.

I've always been fascinated by emotions, people, personality, and behavior patterns — what makes us human. Law gave me logic and structure. What I was craving was connection.

During law school and my time at Anand Rathi, it became clear: I didn't want to spend my life doing work that didn't light me up inside. So I made a brave — and a little scary — decision.

I changed paths completely.

Where I Am Now

Today, I'm at the beginning of my journey as a therapist. My approach is rooted in empathy, non-judgment, and real human connection.

I'm opening my practice to personal clients through this website, and I'm also looking to work with organisations.

If you're here, maybe you're navigating your own crossroads too. I'd be honoured to walk alongside you.
